We will contest assembly polls on our own: Chautala

Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader and Ellenabad MLA Abhey Chautala on Saturday told party workers at Aggarwal Bhavan, Sector 16, Panchkula, that the party would fight on its own and would wipe out the Congress in the assembly elections in October.

Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala was also present on the occasion. He told the workers that the wave in favour of Modi that had been witnessed at the national level after the Lok Sabha polls, would be witnessed again in the forthcoming elections in favour of Om Prakash Chautala.

The MP added that the Congress had tried to demolish the INLD but they fought back and in the Lok Sabha elections they got 24% vote.

Also, the voting in Haryana this time had been in favour of Modi and not BJP, he added. Dushyant when came to address the workers was welcomed with cheers.

He shared his experience of victory over Haryana Janhit Congress supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi. Rajya Sabha MP Raj Kumar Kashyap was also present on the occasion along with Kalka MLA Pradeep Chaudhary.
