A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.

Shying away from flashing that pretty smile just because of your braces? Well, it’s the braces that will now give you a reason to smile even wider!

The department of orthodontics at Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital (HSJIDS), Sector 25, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has lined up some fun events for those undergoing tooth alignment procedures.

Events such as Wire-O-Mania and the selfie smile contest will be held at Lecture Theatre 1, ground floor of the institute at 2 pm on Thursday.

Want to participate?

To take part in the selfie smile contest, a pair of braces is all you need. Just drop an email along with your selfie and you are ready to go! The contest is open to all.

Dr Deepak Gupta, the organiser of the selfie smile contest, said, “The contest is an initiative by The Indian Orthodontic Society (IOS). Anyone who wears braces is welcome to send in the entries, which will be displayed and adjudged on Thursday.”
