Channel Spark Punjabi and 92.7 BIG FM announced the appointment of renowned celebrity chef Rakesh Sethi. Chef Sethi will be seen as a part of multiple shows on Reliance Broadcast Network’s radio and television ventures, as he takes audiences and listeners on an exciting culinary journey that will include sharing recipes, updates on food, chats with prominent personalities, advice on diet and nutrition, and more.

In Chandigarh to shoot with the finalists of Spark Punjabi’s BIG Punjaban, Chef Rakesh Sethi shared his journey so far and his upcoming shows.

The talented Rakesh Sethi joined the hospitality industry in 1982 after graduating from The Institute of Hotel Management, New Delhi. Over the years, he gained experience at some of India’s most reputed hotels, ranging from Holiday Inn Crown Plaza, Hyatt and Leela Kempinski, to Parkroyal, Yak & Yeti (Kathmandu), The Oberoi and Inter-Continental - The Grand. Rakesh was also the food editor for the channel, Food Food, and hosted the show, Tea Time with Chef Rakesh Sethi.

Now, Chef Sethi will present a special segment each day on 92.7 BIG FM from 1 pm to 2 pm, where
listeners can look forward to some useful tips from the celebrity chef. He will also offer useful information on the largely ignored nutritional aspects of food and how to retain them while cooking.
