Alleging negligence at the hands of hospital authorities, the relatives of a woman, who delivered a dead child, created ruckus near trauma centre on Thursday night.

They shouted slogans against the doctors and the staff of the hospital.

The situation got resolved when principal medical officer (PMO) Dr Poonam Jain assured the relatives of inquiry into the matter. The PMO also assured of taking appropriate action if the probe establishes negligence.

Ghel village resident Dalbir Singh has alleged that before the delivery, his wife was under regular check-up at the hospital and even a few days back she was checked and the doctors had told him that every thing was normal.

He alleged that on Thursday the doctors had claimed that the child was dead in the womb for three days.
