Police have booked a woman and her nephew on charge of murdering her husband on late Friday night in Titoli village, 12 km from the district.

Deceased Chander Swaroop (38) was working as a private typist in Meham courts and had four children. His wife Pinki (25) allegedly developed illicit relations with her nephew Satyawan (23) of Bhiwani district who used to visit their house in Titoli.

The matter came to light when villagers found Chander's body hanging from a tree in the village on Saturday morning.

Investigation officer Satbir said that the accused suffocated Chander with a piece of cloth and hanged his body to make it look like a suicide case. Both Pinki and her nephew Satyawan were booked under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of IPC on the complaint of Prem Singh, a brother of Chander, he added.
