Woman robbed of Rs 80,000 in Phase 9, Mohali

In a daring incident, two motorcycle-borne men robbed a resident of Rs 80,000 and gold ornaments in broad daylight at Phase 9 on Friday. The victim, Anju Bala, a resident of Phase 11, stated that she was on the way to a bank to deposit the amount when two bikers wearing helmets snatched her bag containing the money and some gold ornaments, before fleeing the scene.

A case under sections 382 and 120B of the IPC has been registered.
