Former cricketer and actor Yograj Singh’s cousin Kuljeet Kaur and her family members were injured after they were allegedly attacked by their neighbours over a parking row at Sector 2 on Sunday.

The family had recently returned from England and were celebrating a birthday at home.

Kuljeet Kaur alleged that soon after the party got over, their neighbours — former DSP Aasha Nand and his two sons- Sunil and Amit — entered into a verbal argument with her family over parking of vehicles, and then attacked her and her two children, Tanya and Aryana, and her relative Bhupinder Singh with sharp-edged weapons and sticks.

Soon after the incident, the family sounded the police who took them to General Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, where Yograj Singh visited them. He told the mediapersons that the neighbours also stole jewellery and luxury watches in the attack, besides tearing his kin’s clothes.

ASI Sushil Kumar, incharge of Sector 2 police post, said they had not received any complaint and the family went to the general hospital on their own.
