Having spread cheers in Mumbai for more than three years, a UK-based forum helmed by world-famous comedian Don Ward, which gives international and local comics in the country a platform to showcase their talents, is now headed to Delhi with their first show here today.

“The Comedy Store has been in the business of laughs since the past 34 years and from the looks of it, this will be a pretty splendid opportunity for all the people involved in the event,” says Ward, CEO of the organising initiative, The Comedy Store.

Called, Best in Stand-up, the show will feature three of the country’s best comics- Kunal Rao, Raghav Mandava, Amit Tandon, to make the audience laugh with their rollicking brand of humour. “They took a while to get to Delhi, but they have done a lot for the Bombay comic scene,” says 26-year-old Raghav Mandava. “The initiative has mainly given existing comedians an opportunity to up their game. They are also known for turning amateurs into pros, giving them a platform to hone their skills. And best of all, they pay!” Mandava adds.
