BSF takes out cycle rally against drug abuse

On the occasion of its 48th Raising Day, Border Security Force (BSF), Punjab Frontier, on Sunday took out a cycle rally from here up to the Joint Check Post (JCP) of Attari.


The rally was organised to spread awareness against drug abuse.

The cycle rally comprising 55 BSF personnel led by Inspector General (IG) of Punjab Frontier Ajay Kumar Tomar was flagged off by mayor Sunil Jyoti and Arjuna awardee Comdt (Retd) Nripjit Singh.

On this occasion, IG Tomar said the cycle rally on BSF Raising Day was aimed at spreading the message of dedication to national security, awareness against drugs, besides urging citizens to stay fit.
