Follow your heart!: This is the story of a 28-yr-old woman (Raima) who inhabits her life with an imaginary man Jai (Randeep).
Mere Khwabon Me Jo Aaye
Cast: Raima Sen, Randeep Hooda, Arbaaz Khan
Director: Madhureeta Anand
Rating: * 1/2 Devoted housewife Maya (Raima Sen), who discovers her husband is
cheating on her, finds escape in pink-ribboned fantasy sequences and a dream man. We could stay with debutant director Madhureeta Anand till here. However, the said dream man Jai (Randeep Hooda) has more wardrobe changes than a Fashion Week model (including an inexplicable turn as Zorro). He also becomes her life advisor and honorary music coach.

Maya, you see, is a singer whose talent has been suppressed by her cad of a husband (Arbaaz Khan). When she decides to start warbling again, waiting right next door is a band looking for a lead singer. Sceptical they are about this ambitious aunty but take her on, and even win a music contest called Band It. And Maya’s dream is now reality.

Unfortunately, Sen isn’t quite up to the task — she’s pretty, but that’s about it. And Hooda’s efforts at exuding a sardonic cool are undone by his wardrobe (he makes his bare-chested entry with a feathery boa around his neck).

If this film was meant to be about women’s empowerment, fantasy is a strange way to go. If it was meant to be a caper, the few laughs it raises are entirely unintentional.
