“Fee payment will continue till Saturday afternoon after which we will see if there are any more seats left and notify it by Saturday. Based on the number of applications received we will prepare a merit list,” said a college principal on condition of anonymity.

Students, already registered with the University, will now have to apply online through the UG portal and choose a course and college from the available seats.

“The candidate is again required to apply online through UG admission portal and choose the course/college wherever seats are available. The applications will be received online only for three days,” said officials.

The college will prepare a merit list of all candidates who have applied in the college online with their names, online registration number and Best of Four for each course and display the complete merit list on its website and notice board.

The college will also notify the merit list with names and registration number of candidates eligible for admission against vacant seats.

“The candidates will be admitted in next two days on merit basis only against vacant seats,” officials said.

Three such lists will be brought out. But if seats still remain vacant, the college will again invite applications online and the same process will be repeated.
