Most of us are used to taking medicines for illnesses. Likewise we find solace in silent contemplation through spirituality to overcome anguish.
Any kind of grief, stress, depression, distress or sorrow we suffer has an impact on our body and mind, resulting in health disorders.
As per medical science, more than 80% of these disorders are for psychosomatic reasons. Hence, when depression is removed, the pain in the body decreases.
Doctors use different medicines to take away the illness from the body of a patient, but what is the medicine that takes away the sorrow from the heart and mind of a patient?
Unfortunately nobody has a definite answer to this. Going into silence within can provide a powerful antidote, so that wasteful thoughts disappear from our minds gradually. For this, we need to stop looking outward and focus within to find out who we are internally.
The thought, “I am a peaceful being” would give comfort to our heart and mind. As we consciously change the quality of our thoughts and ensure they are peaceful and positive, our mind becomes strong. These positive thoughts and feelings result in self-empowerment.
As this power accumulates within, it helps to eliminate sorrow of the heart and mind. It is this power that heals the malady and empowers us as master healer by rejuvenating each & every cells of our body.
