Healing from within

Human beings suffer from physical & mental disorders that in many cases are incurable as they are beyond the perception of modern science.
Today, people often define themselves by their illness, like, “I am asthmatic ,” “I am hypertensive,” “I am diabetic,” etc. We try to cure the symptoms rather than seeking the cause. The cause? When we don’t know who we are there is fear; negative feelings pour in. These cause illness of the mind and body.
When we actually get to know ourselves as spiritual beings, we discover that everything we need, the healing energies of peace, love, power, wisdom and happiness, are already within us. Just as the sun warms our body when it shines, our soul warms and heals us from within.
Our mind creates negative thoughts and feelings when these are not in harmony with the qualities and values of our inner self. This leads to mental and physical agony. In this light, we can see how our illness is a signal that we have taken a wrong turn.
Hence, if we recognize the signal, illness becomes our opportunity to get back on the right road to recovery. So in order to live a healthy life free from illness, we must always visualize ourselves as a being full of light and energy, making our wellness our identity, not our illness. This is the best way to heal oneself and lead a perfect life by channelizing our energies for the right cause.
