Living with God

Let us try an experiment: Go through a day and see how many times we can remember God. Is it once or twice? Then do we forget God and go back to thinking that we are the doers, making everything happen?

Try to increase the amount of time we live in God. Can we take God with us to work, to our families, to our friends, and activities? Can we keep God walking with us at every moment?

We may call on God when our life is threatened, but can we call on God while eating, dressing, walking, talking, working, playing, or sleeping? Such a one who can do this will find ecstasy and inebriation at all times. He or she will rise above problems and won’t be affected by the ups and downs of life.

It is the ‘God power’ within us that gives us the strength, the power and the courage to face our challenges. Each one of us at one time or the other had to face challenges.

At times we wonder if we can make it through. Each of these experiences is a proof of the ‘higher power’ that is always with us and guiding us. We are never alone. God is always with us and all the time, everywhere.

Whenever we have to face a challenge that we feel is too difficult, we should keep in mind that we do not have to face it all alone. The unseen hand of God is always with us. We may not see God but God is definitely there.

At times we do feel His presence within us. The more receptive we are, the more we can feel that presence.
