A crack team of anti-naxalite commandos has been roped to provide security cover to the Indian and Australian cricket teams at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) stadium in Jamatha, where the second ODI match will be held on Wednesday.

As part of the tight arrangements for tomorrow's day-night One Day International (ODI), police have beefed up security measures and commandos have been requisitioned from Naxal hit areas for a day, police sources said.

Police will be using night vision devices to detect any wrong doings in and around the new stadium for the first day-night encounter between India and Australia in Nagpur, they said.

Meanwhile, both the teams had net practice at the stadium to have a feel of the ground. The Australian side was the first to reach on schedule while Indian team arrived a little late.
