Bad light and rain stopped play late on the second day of the first Ashes cricket Test between Australia and England at the Gabba on Friday.

Bad light and rain stopped play late on the second day of the first Ashes cricket Test between Australia and England at the Gabba on Friday.

When dark clouds and the rain moved in, Australia were 220 for five in reply to England's first innings 260.

Mike Hussey was unbeaten on 81 with Brad Haddin not out 22.
