Ballot system for blocked tickets: ICC

The International Cricket Council will sell unused blocked tickets through a ballot system for the remaining World Cup 2011 matches, especially the semi-finals and the final, in view of unprecedented demand from fans, ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat said today.

The International Cricket Council will sell unused blocked tickets through a ballot system for the remaining World Cup 2011 matches, especially the semi-finals and the final, in view of unprecedented demand from fans, ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat said on Saturday.

How to get a ticket
* The ballot will open on Feb 28 and close on March 6. You have to fill an application at http://cwc2011ballot.kyazoonga.com

* A draw will be made on March 10 and successful applicants will be informed by email on March 11. A ticket limit of two tickets per applicant will be applied.
