All-rounder Shakib al Hasan has been retained as Bangladesh captain for next month's one-day international series against Zimbabwe, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said on Sunday.
The BCB named a 15-member squad for the five-match series that also included former captain Mashrafee Mortaza.
Shakib led Bangladesh to a 4-0 win against New Zealand in October after taking over from Mortaza, who twisted his ankle in the first match and took no further part in the five-match series.
Opener Tamim Iqbal returned to the side after recovering from a wrist injury while former skipper Mohammad Ashraful was also recalled.
The series begins on Wednesday with a one-dayer at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
The second and third ODIs will be held at the same venue on Dec. 3 and 6. Chittagong will host the fourth and fifth matches on Dec. 10 and 12.
Squad: Shakib Al Hasan (Captain), Mashrafee Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Zunaed Siddique, Mohammad Ashraful, Roqibul Hassan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Naeem Islam, Abdur Razzak, Mohammad Sohrawardi, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain and Nazmul Hossain.
