A red carpet was rolled out for the Bangladesh players at the team hotel as they got out from the bus one after another with local boy Tamim Iqbal leading the pack. But surprisingly, there were just a handful of media-persons and not a single fan in sight as they quickly entered the hotel, faces as grump as possible.

At least, seven trucksload of security personnel took charge of the area to ensure no untoward incident happened once again but it seemed as if the port city though as lit up as Dhaka, hardly cared, that too, on a Saturday evening, in one of the busiest locations in the city.

Late in the afternoon, school children took part in a rally with flags of the participating nations and just as the local media shunted Friday's post-match chaos as though nothing had happened, the children too seemed hardly aware. Let alone be sorry about it. Only the urgency with which the security men got ready to receive the team remained the silent proof of the fact that the team buses were pelted with stone on Friday and Bangladesh is now alert to prevent a repeat.
