The Indian cricket board on Tuesday appointed Bharat Patel, former chairman of Proctor and Gamble, as advisor to interim Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman Chirayu Amin.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary N. Srinivisan said in a statement Tuesday: "Mr. Bharat Patel, former chairman of Proctor and Gamble, is being appointed as the honorary advisor to the interim chairman of IPL, Mr Chirayu Amin."
