Selection committee chief Dilip Vengsarkar refused to make any comment on umpiring errors during the Sydney cricket Test which India lost by 122 runs on Sunday.

Vengsarkar is here to witness the Ranji Trophy semi-final between Uttar Pradesh and Saurashtra being played at the Motibagh ground. When approached for his reaction to umpiring mistakes, he said "I have not watched it and have been on the ground whole day so it will be unfair for me to make any comments."

He said, except him, all other members of the selection committee will go to Australia for the remaining Test matches and the triangular one-day series. They will leave in batches, he added.

When asked about his going to Australia during the current series, Vengsarkar said he had no such plans.
