One may feel it's getting nasty out there in the middle, with the crowd also adding its bit to the chitchat going on between the players.

Harbhajan Singh, however, had a totally different opinion. "I think everything is under control. There's bound to be a lot of competitiveness when No. 1 and No. 2 teams fight it out. If someone feels he needs to play with aggression, he should go ahead and express himself. This is after all Test cricket, not some match being played in the park. Both teams are doing what's required to win the match," said Harbhajan.

The feisty off-spinner refused to read too much into the crowd getting stuck into Sreesanth. "Let the crowd enjoy. It's only making Sreesanth more famous. Even I got booed in Australia, let Sreesanth enjoy it here."

Dale Steyn, the day's hero, also tried to play down the growing tension. "The guy has been really funny, doesn't he? He makes it entertaining. Some guys need that spark, we had Andre Nel. It's funny to watch," he said.

Harbhajan summed up the day aptly. "It was a great day for Test cricket. Sachin got another hundred and Steyn was brilliant. He was swinging the ball from leg stump to off stump. We can't really ask for more from a day's cricket," he said.

The off spinner also said two wickets towards the end of the day's play had given them a slight edge. "I think we have a slight edge over them, but we still have to get in-form Amla and Kallis. If we get them early, we will have a bright chance to pull it off," he said.
