Kass Naidoo, a former woman cricket commentator of Indian origin, has been appointed as Cricket South Africa's new commercial manager.

Naidoo, who works and lives in Johannesburg, made history in October 2005 by becoming South Africa's first female cricket commentator.

"We are very pleased to welcome Kass Naidoo to CSA as our Commercial Manager. She has an extensive background in the world of communication and commerce and she will be bringing experience in these two important fields for the benefit of South African cricket," Gerald Majola, Chief Executive officer of the CSA said.

Naidoo said she was delighted to get the opportunity to work with the Cricket Board.

"It has been a life-long pursuit of mine to help to bring cricket to all South Africans, and following a wonderful stint in the television broadcast of the game, I am now delighted to be given this opportunity to contribute to growing the business of Cricket South Africa," Naidoo said.
