Geeves' second over began on a spoiled note, when his team-mate, Shikhar Dhawan conceded four overthrows and subsequently, flicked one past mid-wicket to the boundary. Eight runs off two balls for Jaipur. Jaipur, two down for 22. Kaif joined Shane Watson in the middle and got off the mark straight away, pulling Geeves through mid-wicket for a boundary. This over might have got Delhi going, for they have a brilliant fielding unit.Jaip

Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, then joined Yusuf Pathan and looked comfortable in thr first two balls he faced from McGrath. McGrath, with the wicket, finished the first maiden over of the IPL.

In the third over, Kohli tried to go against the line from one pitched on and around off from McGrath, but could get the desired result, as he managed to hole out to Manhas at short mid-wicket.

Tasmanian bowler, Brett Geeves hit the straps straight up, bowling the first ball on the spot. He kept it tight for the first four balls, but the last two were both cheeky and some good luck boundaries scored by Yusuf Pathan, ending the second over and the Jaipur team 17/0.

In the second game of the day, Jaipur won the toss and stuck to the tried and tested formula of batting first. Glenn McGrath opened the bowling for Delhi and he is right on the money as his first three balls are troubling the Jaipur opener Taruwar Kohli. The Jaipur team is off the mark with a wide from McGrath. The young U-19 opener is looking all at sea against the bowler. What a shot ! Kohli comes down the ground, strokes it inside-out over cover for a big six, into the crowds, that one !
