The Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) is looking to set up the Dhoni Academy of Cricket on the lines of Sourav Ganguly’s academy in Bengal. The CCL chairman-cum-managing director, RK Saha, said he had spoken to M.S. Dhoni about his plan to set up an academy, adding that he had got a positive response from the India skipper.
“He has responded positively to our initiative,” said Saha, adding that the CCL would like Dhoni to take up the issue of land availability with the state government. “Once the land is allotted and the academy becomes operational, we would like Dhoni to be at the helm of its management.”
