India skipper MS Dhoni appealed to the fans to maintain calm and keep supporting the team even when the chips are down.
A day after Bangladesh fans stoned the West Indies team bus in Mirpur after their team's crushing defeat, Dhoni urged the Indian fans to keep their emotions in check.
“It's unfortunate but that's how the fans react,” Dhoni said. “They should remember that players are not at home but their families are, and they don’t have anything to do with cricket. They must control their emotions. “When you are winning, everybody is with you. But real fans of cricket should be with you when you are not doing well.”
