Highlight Story

A bouncer from East Zone's Ashok Dinda was uncomfortably pulled to the boundary by West's Sandip Maniar, early on Day Two of the Duleep Trophy. But Dinda's purpose had been solved, as the next ball the batsman faced he edged it to keeper Shreevats Goswami.

Dinda picked up Akshay Darekar in his next over, to end the innings and emerging East Zone's highest wicket-taker with four wickets. The pacer's early-morning spell restricted West to 314 in the quarters, after which East skipper Natraj Behera (102*) dropped anchor to help his team to 183 for four at stumps.

Brief Scores: WZ 314 (Dinda 4/85). EZ 183/4 (N Behera 100 batting)
