Spectators will watch the Indian blues with mixed feelings. While the return of Tendulkar, Dravid and Ganguly will make them happy, they will probably miss the fresh faces from the T20.

There will also be changes for Australia, playing their first ODI since winning the 50-over World Cup. Apart from Ricky Ponting, Shane Watson and Mike Hussey, Nathan Bracken, who is with his wife for the birth of their first child, will miss out. He is expected to join the squad later, though. No wonder stand-in skipper Adam Gilchrist said, “We have to rely on the depth in our squad. We have six changes owing to retirement and injuries and babies being born.”

India: MS Dhoni (C), Rahul Dravid, Gautam Gambhir, Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan, Rudra Pratap Singh, S Sreesanth, Sachin Tendulkar, Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh.
