On the occasion of Guru Nanak Gurpurab – the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism – well-known cricketers Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina took to Twitter to wish their followers.

The Guru Nanak Gurpurab is an occasion for celebration and prayer among the Sikhs around the world and the celebration usually falls in the month of November, but its date varies based on the traditional dates of the Indian calendar.

Virender Sehwag, who is well known for his quirky sense of humour on the social media, posted a picture of Guru Nanak with a quote from Guru Granth Sahib, the central scripture of Sikhism.

Suresh Raina, who is currently out of the Indian cricket team with injury, also wished his fans on the auspicious occasion.
