Australia’s Twenty20 captain Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to bowl first in the opener of the three-match T20 series against India in Adelaide on Tuesday.
Finch’s Indian counterpart Mahendra Singh Dhoni said he, too, would have opted to chase, had he won the toss.
For the Australians, pacer Shaun Tait and all-rounder Shane Watson are back in the side. Chris Lynn and Travis Head are also in the playing 11.

For the Indians, a number of experienced senior players are back in the side. All-rounders Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina and left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra are back. India are playing two spinners in Ravichandran Ashwin and Hardik Pandya, who is making his international debut.
Australia won the five-match ODI series 4-1, while india will be looking to make amends and get some valuable wins under their belt ahead of the ICC World T20 in India in March.
