16:30 hrs IST: That is stumps on day 2, a day totally dominated by India. Ashwin, Jayant Yadav and Mohammed Shami were the stars. England are 103/5, still trailing by 352 runs. Day 3 will be vital for the visitors as they will bear the full brunt of India’s spinners.

Jayant gets this delivery to drift in late, Moeen comes down the track and looks to smother it but gets hit on the front pad, India appeal but umpire Dharmasena does not give it, Jayant tells Kohli to go for the review, it is the right decision as replays suggest it was hitting leg stump, proud moment for Jayant.

14:32 hrs IST: We are back for the final session and Jadeja opens the bowling. Root misses a straight delivery as he plays back to a flatter delivery, Jadeja appeals for an LBW but umpire Dharmasena does not give it. That ball was just clipping leg stump. Umpire’s call would have remained.
