Captain Virat Kohli scored his 13th Test century and his first at home since 2013 as India posted 267/3 at stumps on the first day of the third and final Test against New Zealand in Indore on Saturday.
Kohli (103) and Ajinkya Rahane (79) were unbeaten at the close of play.
India lost a well-set Cheteshwar Pujara in the post-lunch session and made slow progress to be 148 for three at tea on day one of the third and final Test against New Zealand in Indore on Saturday.
