West Indies won the two-match T20 series against India 1-0 after rain and a resultant wet outfield resulted in the second T20 in Lauderhill, Florida, being washed out on Sunday.

After India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bowl first, India’s spinners did well to dismiss the Windies for 143.

Coming out to chase, India were 15/0 after two overs before rain played spoilsport. Although the rain had stopped, officials judged the outfield hadn’t dried enough and the match was called off.
