England pacer Ryan Sidebottom, who sat out of the first one-dayer against India with a side injury, would miss the next two ODIs as well after failing to recover.
Sidebottom was injured in the third and final Test against India that finished at the Oval on August 13. He missed the first game on Tuesday that England won by 104 runs.
The second ODI will be played on August 24 in Bristol and the third in Birmingham on August 27. The left-arm bowler would be examined for the fourth match in Manchester on August 30 after which it will be decided whether to keep him in the one-day squad.
