Inzamam-ul-Haq, who led the Lahore Badshah’s to victory in the ICL 20s Indian Championship, is keen on carrying the momentum in the World Series, which starts in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters, he said, “We have a good team and all are in perfect health. We will like to keep the momentum going and aim for the title.”
“Our players are in good form and now with the inclusion of allrounder Abdul Razzak we will have some advantage,” the former Pakistan skipper added.
Emphasizing the need for allrounders in the T20 game, he said, “Having allrounders in game gives the captain more options at hand. We need more such players in the team for this version of the game.”
Apart from hosts ICL India and ICL Pakistan, the other two teams in the fray are ICL World and ICL Bangladesh.
ICL India skipper Rajagopal Sathish said, “This game is all about how you handle the pressure. The one who can withstand it is likely to be the champion.”
Chris Harris, who had successfully lead the Hyderabad team to the finals of the recently concluded T20 championship said that he will be having a tough time picking up the right combination.
