Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again given an opportunity to leg-spinner Danish Kaneria to get clearance from the integrity committee of the board and make himself available to play. The Board had sent a letter asking him to get a clearance letter from his old county, Essex. Last year, the Essex police had held investigation into allegations of spot-fixing against Kaneria.
“So now we’ve asked him to get a clearance letter from Essex, stating he is no longer required in the case. The matter will be put to the integrity committee to take a further decision,” a PCB official said.
