You know you must have done something really well when the legendary Sachin Tendulkar tweets about you. Irrespective of how Kuldeep Yadav finishes his debut Test in Dharamsala, he has already made a huge impression on Tendulkar. (Day 1 blog)

Yadav had taken three wickets till tea on the first day of the Dharamsala Test. Yadav’s first Test wicket was that of Australia opener David Warner, inducing a sharp edge off his bat to Ajinkya Rahane at slip. Yadav was clearly very emotional after getting the wicket. (Day 1 scorecard)

This was before he induced Peter Handscomb into a drive, only to make the ball turn into him and crash into his stumps. His third wicket was that of Glenn Maxwell who couldn’t pick Yadav’s wrong one and played all around it.

With the pitch expected to only get better for spinners as the Test wears on, Kuldeep Yadav could be in a for a big haul.
