Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Wade slammed fifties as Australia declared at 469/7 on the second day of the warm-up game against India A at the Brabourne Stadium. In response, Shreyas Iyer blasted a fifty to revive the hosts after Nathan Lyon’s double-strike. At stumps on day 2, India A have reached 176/4, trailing by 293 runs. 16:35 hrs IST: That’s the end of penultimate day’s play. India A are 176 for four after 51 overs. Shreyas Iyer is batting on 85 off 93 balls (7x4s, 5x6s) while Rishabh pant is batting on three. Lyon and Bird claimed two wickets each. India A trailing by 293 runs with six wickets in hand

16:16 hrs IST: Another 50-run partnership for India A this time between Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya. This is a much-needed partnership to steady the Indian innings.

16:01 hrs IST: India A 150 for three in 41 overs. Iyer has ensured to punish every loose balls. Skipper Hardik Pandya, who is struggling to middle the ball well, is making sure he rotates strike to keep the scoreboard ticking.

15:41 hrs IST: Dropped! Pandya gets a reprieve on three. Matt Renshaw at first slip drops a straightforward chance off Bird’s bowling.

15:30 hrs IST: Out! Ankit Bawne is trapped in front of the stumps by Aussie pacer Jackson Bird for 25. He slammed four boundaries during his 48-ball knock. India A reeling at 122 for three.

15:12 hrs IST: Half-century for Shreyas Iyer. The Mumbai batsman gets it in 44 balls that include four boundaries and three sixes. India 117 for 2 after 31 overs.

15:05 hrs IST: Shreyas Iyer inching towards a half-century as India reach 101 runs in 27.6 overs. Iyer smashes his third six of the innings with a one-handed shot over the long on fielder.

14:53 IST: Shreyas Iyer continues his aggressive style of batting post tea break. In the first over, Iyer slammed a six over long on off Lyon. Iyer is going strong on 31 as India A score 83 for 2 after 25 overs.

14:15 hrs IST: Lyon strikes again. Priyank Panchal falls just before the tea break. Lyon manages to get some turn and bounce which surprises Panchal, who gives an easy catch to Peter Handscomb at short leg for 36. India 63 for two after 18 overs as the players take tea break.

14:08 hrs IST: 50 up for India after 16 overs. Shreyas Iyer has provided that positive intent to score runs after a sluggish start to their chase.

13:45 hrs IST: Lyon strikes! Akhil Herwadkar is out caught and bowled for 4. India A 19 for one. It was pitched full but Herwadkar ended up giving a simple catch to Lyon.

13:40 hrs IST: Australian bowlers not giving away any easy runs here. They have bowled tight and stuck to stump-to-stump line. India A 14 for no loss after 10 overs, managing to score only five runs in the last five overs. The four runs came of the 10th over bowled by Lyon.

13:23 hrs IST: India A openers going steady at the moment with 9 for no loss after five overs. Panchal is batting on 5 while Herwadkar is yet to open his account.

13:07 hrs IST: Mumbai’s Akhil Herwadkar and Gujarat’s Priyank Panchal to open the innings for India ‘A’. Jackson Bird to open the bowling for Australia.

12:52 hrs IST: Australia have declared at 469 for seven after 127 overs, 33 minutes after lunch break. Maxwell remained unbeaten on 16 and O Keefe was not out on 8. It will be a huge challenge for the India ‘A’ batsmen to chase down the total in one-and-half day’s play still remaining in this match.

12:30 hrs IST: Marsh slams a boundary at extra cover to bring up Australia’s 450. A ball later, he hits straight to Baba Indrajit at mid off. Marsh departs for 75 as Nadeem finally gets a wicket. Stephen O Keefe joins Maxwell in the middle.

11:38 hrs IST: That’s lunch on day 2. Australia 436 for four after 115 overs. Mitchell Marsh is batting on 64 while new batsman Glenn Maxwell is on two. The Aussies thoroughly dominated the session giving hardly any chances for India ‘A’ to stage a comeback.

11:32 hrs IST: OUT! Wade top edges to wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant while trying to play the sweep shot off Akhil Herwadkar. Wade departs for 64 off 89 balls to end the 129-run partnership off 205 balls. Australia 434 for four. Glenn Maxwell joins Marsh in the middle.

11:30 hrs IST: Mitchell Marsh slams his first six with a straight hit down the ground off Shahbaz Nadeem’s . The ball almost hit the roof of the Churchgate station end. Australia 428 for three after 114 overs.

11:21 hrs IST: Wade slams two consecutive boundaries off Shreyas Iyer to bring up his half-century. Wade was quick to sweep the two full tosses to square leg.

11:14 hrs IST: Matthew Wade brings up Australia’s 400/3 in 109.1 overs with a single at square leg.

Marsh and Wade have stitched together 95 runs for the fourth wicket. They look set for the second 100-run partnership of Australia’s innings.

11:00 hrs IST: Marsh finding gaps at will now. Despite a heavy off-side field, Marsh still manages to send the ball to the boundary twice through classy cover drives off Pandya. Eight runs off his over as Australia near 400-run mark.

Skipper Steve Smith (107) and Shaun Marsh (104) both scored brilliant centuries as the India A bowlers struggled to pick up wickets.

India A skipper Hardik Pandya, won the toss and elected to bowl. Navdeep Saini picked up two wickets -- sending back Aussie openers David Warner and Matt Renshaw -- while Pandya scalped one for India A.
