Lungi Ngidi was the star for South Africa as he picked up 6/39 on his debut as the Proteas secured a 135-run win over India in the second Test at Centurion. For India, Rohit Sharma’s 47 was the lone fighting hand as the rest of the top order crumbled against some disciplined bowling. With this loss, Virat Kohli’s nine-match series winning streak as the Indian cricket team captain has come to an end. Kohli had the bowlers at his disposal and they responded by bowling South Africa out in all four innings of the two Tests so far. However, the batsmen have not responded, with only Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya scoring a 153 and 94 respectively in both the Tests. Beating India in Centurion has banished South Africa’s memories of the 3-0 loss in India in 2015-16 on spin-friendly pitches. Get full cricket score of India vs South Africa, 2nd Test, Day 5 here.
