Sri Lanka were 69/4 at stumps on Day 4 of the first Test, leading Pakistan by 66 runs. Yasir Shah took two wickets while Kusal Mendis and Suranga Lakmal were at the crease at close of play. Earlier, the hosts took a three-run lead in Abu Dhabi with a cautious Azhar Ali (85) making sure that Pakistan reached 422. Spinner Rangana Herath finished with five wickets as Pakistan were bowled out at tea in their first innings on Sunday. Herath took 5/93 but a brilliant 76-run knock by debutant Haris Sohail gave Pakistan a three-run lead over Sri Lanka’s 419 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
