Suspended Indian Premier League (IPL) Commissioner Lalit Modi got elected and evicted on the same day. After being unanimously chosen president of the Nagaur Cricket Association (NCA) on Saturday, Modi found himself dispossessed as the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) dissolved the NCA immediately after the elections.

The RCA cited violation of some rules of the Association for the dissolution.

RCA secretary Sanjay Dixit said that Modi had corruption charges pending against him and was therefore ineligible to fight elections of any RCA body.

Rajendra Singh Nandu, elected secretary of the association for the fifth time said that elections had been conducted according to the sports act.

Election officer M.R. Farooqui told the Hindustan Times that the elections were conducted peacefully and as per the sports act and rules and regulations.

Meawnhile, Modi's councillor Mahmood Abdi told the Hindustan Times, "We have not got any letter regarding this. They have gone mad and started dissolving the districts units that did not support them in the elections."
