BCCI-appointed Commissioner Sudhindra Nanavati on Monday, said he might call Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth to get a clearer picture about the slapping incident which has seen the off-spinner being banned for the rest of the Indian Premier League.

The advocate from Ahmedabad, who would conduct a preliminary inquiry into the charges against Harbhajan, said he might have to call the duo, apart from other players who might have witnessed the incident.

"I have to go through the document and footage also," Nanavati said.

He will submit his report within 15 days to BCCI President Sharad Pawar, BCCI secretary NIranjan Shah said in a statement.

"On receipt of the report, the president will refer the same to the Disciplinary Committee," Shah said.

Harbhajan admitted slapping Sreesanth in Friday's Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab match in Mohali, which prompted IPL authorities to ban him for the rest of the Twenty20 tournament.
