Narayanaswami Srinivasan would take over as the chief of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from incumbent Shashank Manohar on Monday after its Annual General Meeting in Mumbai.
Srinivasan, who, has served as the secretary and treasurer of BCCI earlier, is also president of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. Addressing mediapersons in Mumbai on Sunday, vice president of BCCI Rajiv Shukla informed about the new appointments. The board is unlikely to sack the selectors despite team's dismal performance in England. The team went winless in the international engagements in all three formats of the sport.
