New Zealand beat the West Indies by 81 runs in the first Twenty20 international at Eden Park on Saturday.

New Zealand beat the West Indies by 81 runs in the first Twenty20 international at Eden Park on Saturday.

New Zealand, who elected to bat first, made 189-5 and the West Indies were 108-8 at the end of their 20 overs.

In the New Zealand innings Brendon McCullum made 60 not out and Tino Best took three for 40.

Andre Fletcher top-scored for the West Indies with 23 and Nathan McCullum took four for 24.
