Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni decided to quit as brand ambassador of Amrapali, a real estate firm, after homebuyers trolled the cricketer on Twitter.

Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh showed his support for Dhoni’s decision when he tweeted - “Well done @msdhoni for dropping #Amarpali builders..they didn’t gave us VILLAS they announce after 2011 worldcup win.”

Doni’s decision came after the residents of Noida’s Sector 45 Amrapali Sapphire Society had tagged the Indian skipper in their tweets complaining about the delay in completion of the housing project.
