Pakistan win toss, elect to bat against Bangladesh

Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and elected to bat against Bangladesh in their Asia Cup match in Dambulla today. Pakistan have rested Salman Butt, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Aamer and Saeed Ajmal for the inconsequential match.

Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and elected to bat against Bangladesh in their Asia Cup match in Dambulla today.

Pakistan have rested Salman Butt, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Aamer and Saeed Ajmal for the inconsequential match.

Bangladesh have also made three changes bringing in Jahurul Islam, Suhrawadi Shuvo and Abdur Razzak. They have left out senior batsman Mohd Ashraful.

Both the teams are out of contention for the finals after losing their previous preliminary stage matches.

Pakistan: Shahid Afridi (c), Imran Farhat, Shahzaib Hasan, Umar Amin, Umar Akmal, Asad Shafiq, Kamran Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Abdur Rehman, Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Asif.

Bangladesh: Shakib Al Hasan (c), Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Junaid Siddique, Mushfiqur Rahim†, Jahurul Islam, Mahmudullah, Suhrawadi Shuvo, Mashrafe Mortaza, Shafiul Islam, Abdur Razzak.
