Australian and New Zealand players on Friday wore black arm-bands during their World Cup match in the memory of those, who lost their lives in devastating earthquake that rocked Christchurch last Tuesday.

As informed by Australia skipper Ricky Ponting on Thursday, the players also observed a minute's silence in the memory of those who lost their lives.

The clash has been named as Chappell-Haddlee trophy since there is no bilateral series scheduled between the two sides this year.
