Heavy showers have delayed the start of South Africa-Sri Lanka World Twenty20 match at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium here today.

Heavy showers have delayed the start of South Africa-Sri Lanka World Twenty20 match at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota on Saturday.

A five-over game can start after 6:15pm local time but there is no official word here.

Already assured of their places in the Super Eight stage of the tournament, both Sri Lanka and South Africa would be eyeing a win to finish on top in Group C.
