With the demand for tickets for Sachin Tendulkar's 200th and final Test at the Wankhede next month hitting the roof, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has decided to reserve an area for overseas fans and those Indians ready to cough up extra money.

A total of 2000 tickets in the upper-tier of the Sachin Tendulkar stand would be sold for a special price of Rs 10,000 each.

According to an MCA official, the huge demand for tickets from foreign spectators gave rise to this measure.

"There will be 2000 tickets on sale in the Tendulkar stand. Other stands will also have tickets on sale for the public. A final decision is expected to be taken on Sunday," MCA joint honorary secretary PV Shetty told HT.

The tickets are expected to go on sale only a week before the Test which begins on November 14 and will be available for sale online only.

WI tour game likely to be shifted
The three-day warm-up game between West Indies and Uttar Pradesh is likely to be shifted out of Cuttack because of heavy rain in Orissa which also threatens to wash out India's One-day International against Australia on Saturday.

To prevent a washout, the tour match scheduled from October 31 to November 2, is likely to be played in Mumbai.

A final decision will be taken at the BCCI working committee meeting on Saturday. If the match comes to Mumbai, the DY Patil and Brabourne stadiums would come into contention as the second Test will be staged at the Wankhede.
