Indian paceman S Sreesanth on Thursday dedicated his sensational comeback performance to all those people who lost their lives in last year's audacious Mumbai terror attack.

Sreesanth took five wickets in Sri Lanka's first innings to put India in the driver's seat in the second cricket Test.

On being asked if he would dedicate his brilliant show with the ball to martyrs of the 26/11 attack, the Kerala speedster said, "Why not. It is an emotional matter and I dedicate my today's performance to them."

India are on the brink of a comprehensive win against the visitors, having reduced them to 57 for four in their second innings, still 356 runs behind India's 642 in first innings.

Sreesanth, who returned to national Test side after a 19-month gap, said it would be proud moment for him if India wins match.

"It would be a memorable and proud moment for me and for all the country, if India wins tomorrow," he said.

The Indian cricket team had held a two-minute silence before the start of the day's place in a tribute to those killed in the attack.
